Ever wanted to have your own ant colony where you can then command those insects to do your bidding? That looks to be what you’ll be able to do in the recently released Pocket Ants: Colony Simulator, which is available now for Android devices.
Pocket Ants: Colony Simulator is a strategy game of sorts then where you’ll work to build up a powerful ant army consisting of bother worker and soldier ants. This will be done by gathering resources and returning them to your nest. Some of these resources will be used to feed your queen ant, who will then give birth to more worker and soldier ants, increasing your ranks.
From there you’ll be able to lead your army out of the nest to fight other creatures like tarantulas. Once defeated, these beasties can then be captured and used to bolster the strength of your squad, though I personally refuse to ally with a spider. Much like your ants, these different creatures can also be upgraded to make them more capable in a fight.
Pocket Ants: Colony Simulator also has some PVP elements for players to engage with as well. This will see them invading the colonies of other players, killing their ants and their queen to net themselves resources and a host of bonus items.
Naturally, that also means you’ll need to defend your own resources from enemy ants. Elsewhere, there will also be a daily challenge that will task players with defeating the red ant colony where doing so will net them additional items.
Pocket Ants: Colony Simulator is available now over on Google Play where it’s a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
